5. Oktoberfest, Munich - Germany

This one is similar to Dublin - St Patrick’s Day for me really. Two birds with one stone.. if you’re going to visit some places you might aswell do it at a good time right?

I’d really like to visit Munich but it’s just logical to do it around the end of September/start of October whilst Oktoberfest is on. Man City drew Bayern Munich in the Champions League this season, cracking draw and their game in Munich happened to cross paths with Oktoberfest. Can’t explain how much I envied that draw.

There’s obviously more to Munich than Oktoberfest and I’d make sure to see it whilst I was out there but October is the time to go.

I definitely have to go one year. Maybe this? Planning more holidays than money allows for at the minute haha.
