To dare is to do..
25. Berlin, Germany - EuropeI started to plan the remaining days a few days back to try and fill up all the days. I can’t believe I managed to miss out Berlin. Absolutely shameful. Thank you Kelly haha. I’d no doubt have forgotten it but for the change of profile picture. Anyway it has made my bucketlist - rightly so too. I hadn’t planned on another German city making the bucketlist but I completely overlooked Berlin somehow. I think one of the biggest things you’d associate with Berlin would be the Berlin wall. I watched something a while back and it surprised me what the wall actually looked like. I guess I expected something similar to the great wall of China but they’ve actually painted/graffitied the wall so it’s quite colourful when you look at it. Mental that the city was divided with the old East/West Germany though. I’d find it so bizarre being restricted to one side of the city. Anyway it’s not just the wall that interests me. You’ve got the Berliner Fernsehturm above, the Brandenburg Gate and a load more. Plus I’ve never been to Germany. As much as the English like to have a bit of banter at the German’s expense everyone I know who’ve been over there have really enjoyed it and been quite complimentary of them (and the beer haha). Four days left.
